INTERMISSION — THE PAUSE

Before we move forward…

we need to remember.

WHERE IT BEGAN

Not with us.

Not with breath in our lungs

or thought in our minds.

Complete.

THE WORLD BEFORE US

There was no confusion in the beginning.

No uncertainty.

Everything existed within its place.

AND THEN—US

We were not the first thing created.

was preparation.

A world built…

before the one who would walk in it.

WHAT WE WERE GIVEN

We were placed into something already complete.

Not asked to build it.

Not required to understand it.

Only to live within it.

To move.

To tend.

To exist.

And most importantly—

to choose.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US AND EVERYTHING ELSE

Everything else followed design.

We were given something else.

The ability to step outside of it.

Not completely.

Not freely.

But enough.

Enough to decide.

THE FIRST CHOICE

It wasn’t forced.

It wasn’t hidden.

It was presented.

A boundary.

Simple.

Clear.

AND THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING CHANGED

Because the moment a boundary exists—

so does the possibility of crossing it.

THE DECISION

It wasn’t made out of survival.

It wasn’t made out of necessity.

It was made out of something new.

Curiosity.

The desire to know.

WHAT WE TOOK

Not just action.

Not just consequence.

But awareness.

The knowledge of difference.

The knowledge of right… and wrong.

THE MOMENT OF SEPARATION

Nothing collapsed.

Nothing burned.

The world remained.

But something shifted.

WHAT WE LOST

Not life.

Not existence.

But alignment.

THE NEW CONDITION

From that moment on—

we were no longer moving with the system.

There is no longer a default path.

WHAT WE BEGAN TO DO

We started to define things for ourselves.

Right and wrong.

Good and evil.

Order and disorder.

Not as they were given—

but as we understood them.

THE PROBLEM WITH THAT

Because understanding… is incomplete.

And incomplete understanding—

creates distortion.

WHAT THIS CREATED

Division.

Not just between people—

but within them.

A constant tension between:

What we know…

and what we choose.

THE WORLD THAT FORMED FROM THIS

No longer unified.

No longer simple.

Still functioning—

but fractured.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Because everything that follows—

comes from this moment.

Not from creation.
